I’m from close family,
from sharing to fighting

I’m from food cooking in the kitchen,
to the smell floating through the house

I’m from a merry maiden who had three kids,
She was smart and kind

I’m from love and respect,
to treating people with respect

I’m from art, creativity, books, and culture

I’m from snowy, cold winters, hot summers, warm springs,
and beautiful, colorful falls

I’m from the smell of grandma’s flowers and garden,

I’m from the pine trees that leave needles and cones on the ground
