Book Description: The Kasota Prairie is located in Le Sueur County, Mn. It begins around the little village of Kasota and ends near Mankato, largely bordering the Minnesota River. The environmental history of  these seemingly opposing landscapes is discussed in this book.

Bob Douglas is an Emeritus professor of Geography at Gustavus Adolphus College in St.Peter, MN and for over 40 years has walked and witnessed the changes that have occurred on the Kasota Prairie.
