7 Lakewalk, October

There is so much more to write here

Today I can’t get past the mirror of Lake

The shore is but nothing in comparison, the skyline everything

Water meets sky

How can I move on from this?

Rivulets in tracks cut down into the water –this one is a breath of life

Deep red in clear blue, these are the maples …a still, October day …Sunday to be exact

Still and warmish

Clouds are pale and strings folded one of top of the other loosely

No big statement, just resting

There is the sense that just I, who am nothing and as much as cosmic dust, cannot do justice to

describing this gift

I want to own but not destroy

There may be a place for me on this bench, or a seat in the rocks along the shore—jutting rocky

incline

A place in the sun

And I will move on just as soon as I claim it. Time is deception, space and size

The question is

will I transcend the deception and become whole

?
