2 Breath Support
The term breath support is a somewhat poor name for this term, but it is used commonly to refer to breath control or air control. Good breath support allows one to control how much air is being used while singing. To achieve a strong, resonant voice, it is not necessary to exhale large amounts of air while singing. It is much more important to use air efficiently to make the vocal folds vibrate freely – too much exhaled air while singing can actually prevent a singer from achieving a full, rich tone.
