Book Title: Tree Trek

Through the chapters of this memoir, I weave my personal reflections carrying on the Tree Trek legacy of my father into processing my grief at his passing.  Each chapter is focused on the science of a tree going along hand in hand with the beauty of nature, the importance of connection in our lives to ourselves, to others and to nature.  Themes of transformation, joy, family memories, science and protection of the environment arise along the way.   Listening both to each other’s stories and to the wisdom of our inner selves leads to empathy, love and the discovery of purpose and meaning.
