2 Chapter 2 : Roots
Before going forward on death wishes and quests for fame… let’s look back.
The Cheshire cat’s gene pool was dripping with talent. As the reader knows the Cheshire cat was a major character in Lewis Carroll’s 1865 publication, “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” [1] along with multiple appearances and disappearances in the Disney [4] film production of same, similar name title. Information about her special bloodline is found using internet search engines and with special help from the “Big W”, Wikipedia.
Her family originally was born and bred in England. Cat-pubs are named after her in three British towns: Cheshire (of course), Stockport and Chester.
The family name and noted abilities are famous in many of life’s mysteries and findings, as well. It has been referenced in the visual-scientific community. Binocular Rivalry or cat effect is when things disappear in one’s vision. Scientists get very excited about this.
Biology people write about a Cheshire Conjecture but Cee can’t understand what they are talking about. Still she feels proud.
The cat name Quantum Cheshire Cat or Schrodinger’s Cat is a wave equation phenomenon in physics when atoms are alive and dead at the same time. (CeeCee’s favorite family accomplishment.)
Additionally the C.Cat’s wide notable grin is “refurred” to in the astronomically observed happy merger of a galaxy group astrologists call Ursa Major.
It’s no wonder that the family’s traditional quote “I’m not all there myself”[1] was her life’s motto strengthened by the descriptive, historical uses of the family’s magical disappearance ability.
So the Cheshire’s nickname was CeeCee to save time, as time is money. She was born attracted to electricity “Don’t touch that” but was allergic to cats, herself.
Knowing one’s roots is grounding.
