"

Eggs become stars

The drips of egg whites

formed stars

next to the burner.

The anger has built its own

fortress

I have taken on every trauma

I have made them inside me

The world becomes

a landmine

[rife with triggers]

mug –

channel between [the

walrus-tooth bubbles]

latte slides

I’m on the hunt for a

Chai that soothes

This one is a close miss

This is the character of fortress

Salt

Dragon

Destiny

Shadow

Smoulder

Fog

This is the Nature

wanting

All that I have

that  I

hold back

on explosion

on attack

Fortress Rock

Deep-square

Center

I can’t swallow aroundyou

I ate the Fear

I ate the wound

I made the Castle in preparation

for war

We don’t talk anymore This

is the quality

You couldn’t Lift me out of

Disaster

Ordinary Human

So are you

An Ordinary Human

Egg whites dripped on

the stovetop, front and

right – there on the corner

next to the burner

I Left the Drips as if

I hadn’t seen them

Left them, as if they weren’t

mine

to own

When I returned, Stars

Beating my head

Hurling my body

against this wall

hoping

to see it

crumble

I know there is a magical land

just

behind

Break                           Through

Break            Down         Walls

Break           Down

Fortress

Dragon –  Sparkles –  Dust –

in Air – Sunlight

Laughing – Lighter

…. as if scales had grown on

my skin – Burned, hash marks

in the fading afternoon

Sun

Either I died

or you are gone

Ordinary man

Delusions of grandeur

A speaker phone in

the corner

of the Castle    –       Silent

I imagined myself bloody

and Raw

Belly up to the battle

me

In the world

Brave for the first time

What I see

in Plain View

created by

(me)

Can it be Real?

A tall order to be my Lover

exercise in Separation

I wanted Nothing (more than) to be

Left

well enough

Alone

Real and present

a Tale before me

I thought I missed you

When you spoke

I heard you gone
