The Arts School Trip
Angelo Igiraneza Ganza
An art class had a trip to the museum. When they returned back to school, three students reported about their visit.
Scoot: We went on a class trip with the arts school. Lots of kids did not want to go on the trip. Among my friends, only Mark and I were excited to go.
Lake: I was always with Deshawn for our trip. On the bus, two sixth graders joined us. They talked too much about the topics we couldn’t even understand.
Scoot: At the site, we met some eighth graders and one of them stared at me. It was scary. In front of the museum, there was a concert. It seemed to welcome the visitors.
Deshawn: Yes. The performers were cool!
Scoot: I liked the music and the instrument players. It was fun!
Lake: At the museum, first we saw Obaseone! Next we saw different paintings.
Scoot: Then the leader showed us sculptures of many kinds.
Lake: We even saw some drawings and paintings but it was difficult to tell what they were.
Deshawn: In the main hall, there was an exhibition.
Scoot: Because of different activities we attended and things we saw, all our classmates were happy.
Lake: Some of us even told the principal to have more art trips during the school year!
