The Artist’s Masterpiece

Amati Ishimo Migisha

As soon as he laid down the wooden brush

He starts to work in quite a rush

He imagined quite a good design

But he’s rushing so he messed up the line

He decides he’ll do a different style

He doesn’t realize but that makes him smile

It is relieving to work with an improved vision

And he knows he made a good decision

The artist decides to try a new hue

It is refreshing to work with something new

Now his painting is starting to form

It seems his sky is clear from the storm

At first he thought that he’d need to invoke

But now through each and every stroke

Into his artwork he’s gotten quite deeper

He smiled and knew this one was a keeper.
