Graffiti as an Artform

Graffiti is an art form where you spray paint on anything you feel like. People think graffiti is a problem because it ruins things. Graffiti is sometimes found ugly, but some people find it really cool. Graffiti was first done in the late 1960s by Darryl McCray. Graffiti can sometimes be found not to be an art form. But graffiti is an art form because there are patterns and lots of colors.

Darryl McCray was the person who is known as the father of graffiti. He started to write “corn bread” on sidewalks and signs and buildings to try to get his crush’s attention. He did corn bread because he really loved his grandma’s corn bread.

Graffiti is where you paint on something like a train or a sign and people can express how they feel happy, sad or mad. Graffiti is a way some people express how they feel. People sometimes do graffiti to protest something that they disagree or agree with. People who do graffiti that vandalize stuff are considered criminals.

What’s the problem with graffiti? The problem is that graffiti artists are doing it to something that isn’t theirs and it’s hard to remove. Another problem is that it devalues property and public resources. Some people think it looks ugly and ruins buildings. It sometimes cusses. So, some people don’t really like graffiti.

In general, people really don’t like graffiti, but some people think graffiti is really cool. The name graffiti came from the Italian word scratched. People don’t know where graffiti would be without Darryl McCray. Graffiti isn’t always a problem, but graffiti is not good when they do it on other people’s stuff. Graffiti is pretty cool when people spray paint on trains. Graffiti is a unique type of art.
