On the bark
It showed more color
More than just brown
There was some green
That
Grew in a mess
But didn’t take up much space
But
There was a great big mess
Made by a sky blue
That took the pattern of a gathering of dote
There was some gray
But not very much
But it had all these colors
Like
A palette of paint
And
That’s the way
How colorful nature can be
