Where is Perfection Found?
Nora Jorgensen
Perfection attempts to be found
In all that is shined.
Between the glazing strength of melody
To the harmonious agreement of unity.
It is found when looking
To find error or uncertainty,
But leave, hearing none.
What if it were not where it is displayed,
Rather where it hides?
To see the perfection set forth between
The showcased talents to see
What silently resides.
The line, which was ran
ten thousand and one times,
Though not difficult in individual,
never ran cohesively until that final time.
It is not flashy, or obvious.
Only “triumph”
From understanding the struggle.
The harmonies which are not difficult to hear
But difficult to find until you have accomplished it.
The respect of an event
To follow every dreary order and song.
They way which instructed,
Rather than how the student calls.
This is where perfection is found.
Within the in between.
Though not obvious
Unless previously known.
Perfection non the less.
