But They Still Communicate

Communication is a big part of life

Where would we be without it?

What would we do in its absence?

Would we be like animals?

Be armed with a sharp knife?

Failure to talk over differences

Concerns or grievances?

No! No! No!

Even animals communicate

Not only a due of the primate

They organize their own groups

Birds chirp, tweet and whistle.

Dogs bark, growl and whimper

And spiders …

Wait! They don’t make sounds

Or utter what’s on their minds

BUT THEY STILL COMMUNICATE!
