it was a waste of hope
that the flowers wouldn’t bloom
the sun wouldn’t peak out
after the moon
trees would sit there waiting to grow
it wouldn’t happen
it was a waste of time
time stopping for a few minutes
a bridge collapsing with love ones
equipped on it
scorpions not seeing innocents as enemies
it was a waste of bravery
trying to save animals who were never shown the heat of a humans body
holding a friendship that’s limbs are breaking every second
It was a waste
