The full moon
is a promise
in the night
of things to come…
Of light,
Of glimmering flights
of fancy
shimmering
across lakes and streams,
Of winkings
and blinkings
among the pines
in the forests
and the vines
in the meadows….

The caretaker
of the night.

of wonderment,
of vows to be kept,
