Daisy Field

Walking through the fields
We watch the daisies blow
Mingling in disarray
The green with the white and yellow.
The wind tilts the flower heads
across the field
And advances through the pasture’s yield
Of color and contrast
Of flowers and grass
Of a summer’s day come at last.
