Morgan Public Library
The Morgan Public Library has been a part of Morgan history since 1939 when the current building was built by Charles Gilfillan in memory of his father. In the past the city and police offices were also in the building. In 2003
a grant was available to make libraries handicap-accessible, an elevator was added to the building. There was also an addition on the building to provide for a new workspace and circulation desk, computers, and at the time a children’s area which has now become a play space for children. The building now houses a library, community room, program room, and museum. The library collection has grown and now includes items such as games, puzzles, kits for adults and children, and a seed library.
