Siverson Public Library (Hendricks)

The Library was first founded by the Twentieth Century Study Club and held the library books in the City Hall Building for the public to use.  The members of the club took turns hosting the library on open days, checking books in and out to patrons.  The Siversons realized the community had a need for something better and in 1966 they built a new library building and donated it to the City of Hendricks.  On November 6th, 1966 the J.W. Siverson Public Library was dedicated at a service held in the building.
