406      USE OF COMPANY PHONES

 

I. PURPOSE

Due to the extended travel nature of shared job assignments, phones are deemed as safety as well as efficiency work tools.

 

II. GENERAL STATEMENT OF POLICY

  1. Business phone calls from the office may require a coding feature for proper accountability procedures.
  2. No personal long-distance calls, chargeable to the NW Service Co-op., will be allowed from any company phone with the exception of “3” below.
  3. Program Managers/Coordinators and others determined by the Executive Director, may have a company cell phone assigned to them individually because of their extended travel and/or job duties.  The individual assigned to the phone may use this phone for personal use if they notify the Executive Director of their intent in writing and then agree to pay 30% of the monthly cost as determined by the Business manager.
